After getting married in 2016, Scott & Kimball moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and became enamored with the Sonoran Desert environment. Their home was a blank-slate for landscape and became a canvas to experiment with native plants and gardening. Learning as they go, their home has transformed into an oasis of lush landscape of colors and textures from the desert.
Scott, the carpenter, is a licensed Architect in Arizona & Washington and focuses on residential design. In his spare time, he can be found in his workshop designing and fabricating outdoor garden furniture including planters and potting tables or pouring concrete pots.
Kimball, the gardener, has completed the Master Gardener Program at the University of Arizona and is a 4th generation Arizonan. He discovered a talent for making the desert bloom. Kimball’s approach incorporates the principles of xeriscaping (designing specifically for areas susceptible to drought) and is passionate about educating on the ability to create colorful and thriving desert landscapes.
